TSP is pleased to announce that we have been selected to deliver a bespoke employability programme on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), through the Merseyside Flexible Support Grant Fund.
Our delivery partner for this innovative project is Crosby Training.  Between both organisations we have over 40 years’ experience in supporting Merseyside’s unemployed people achieve meaningful and sustained employment.
Eligibility is open to all benefit recipients and client groups except those already engaged with the Work Programme.
Both TSP and Crosby Training have proven track records in delivering sustained job outcomes for the DWP through previous national programmes including New Deal, Gateway and progress2work and progress2work LinkUp.
Jobs First clients receive a menu of the following support to move them closer to the labour market:

Thorough initial assessment of need

Allocation of an experienced Employment Adviser

Regular contact, one to one support and group training sessions

Travel expenses

Access to skills boost training including Health & Safety, CSCS, Food Hygiene, Basic Skills

Criminal conviction disclosure advice and support

Anger Management, Communication, Debt/Money Management and Conflict Resolution skills training

Bespoke and individualised job-search and personal development courses, e.g. GOALS

Access to fully equipped makeover salon for interview preparation and increased confidence

Access to job vacancies and help with applications, interview techniques
