Hope Clubs
TSP announces the launch of Hope Clubs in Liverpool. 24/06/11
The Social Partnership (TSP) is proud to announce the launch of an innovative new project called Hope Clubs. Funded by Liverpool PCT, the key aim of the project is to help individuals blighted by drug and alcohol problems re-enter the employment market and gain new skills. Hope Club Advisors will be on hand to unlock their clients’ enormous potential by giving expert advice on methods designed to improve lives through advice, guidance and one-to-one support. Whilst attending Hope Clubs individuals will be taught a range of techniques to increase their employability prospects including learning undertaking job searches, writing CVs and guidance on completing application forms.
The project will run from Tuesday to Friday across Merseyside in a variety of different organisations from the Treatment and Recovery Working Group (TRWG) in order to maximise Hope Clubs reach within communities. In addition to operating from TSPs Head Office venues include Addactions Liverpool Office, Mersey Cares Liverpool Base, The Basement in Parr Street and the White Chapels Everton office.
Jackie Bethel, TSP Director commented “TSP has a long history of helping individuals affected by substance misuse back into employment and the Hope Clubs are a key addition to our current, successful portfolio of projects”
